Instrument and technology showcase: The limited-edition 936 S, restricted to 100 pieces, is conceived as a chronograph that combines precise time measurement with a clearly functional design. The bicompax arrangement of the sub-dials follows a consistent focus on clarity and supports the quick, intuitive reading of the displays.
Inside, our in-house SZ05 chronograph movement is at work. The 60-minute chronograph counter is positioned at 3 o'clock, with the running seconds at 9 o'clock. This construction allows stopped times to be read directly, as there is no need to add minutes, unlike the conventional 30-minute scale. The dial is deliberately structured for lasting clarity and optimal legibility. Indices as well as the hour and minute hands are coated with white luminous paint to ensure reliable readability in the dark. The technical features are further complemented by magnetic field protection, pressure resistance up to 10 bar and resistance to low pressure.
A defining feature of the 936 S is its case with black hard coating on a tegimented base -- a technology that further emphasizes the watch's professional, instrument-like character. The skeletonized hour and minute hands, rhodium-plated and additionally matte-brushed, add refined accents, while the finely executed sub-dials for the chronograph minute and second counters feature a concentric grooved finish that gives the dial a subtle shimmering effect. The contrasting seconds hand provides a functional highlight and enhances visual orientation.
The 936 S thus presents itself as a distinctive chronograph that unites high-end watchmaking, robust surface technology and functional design into a precise and reliable overall concept.
